Join us for meaningful engagement to change lives through literacy, expand our skilled workforce and strengthen the community we all call home.

Program Partnerships

As students reach their literacy goals, they receive 1:1 assistance in resume building, job searches, applications, and interview preparation. We partner with local businesses to match students’ skills with sustainable jobs that meet employers’ needs.

Adaptive courses help students prepare for certification exams to advance their careers in the culinary and hospitality industries. Classes can also be arranged on-site at companies with several employees seeking to improve their skills or prepare for a certification exam.

Event Sponsorships

Sponsorships provide businesses with an opportunity to showcase their commitment to literacy in our community. Their support will be celebrated in publicity leading up to and during an event.

For more information on sponsorships, please contact our Development Officer Diane Klingman.

Volunteer Opportunities

Choose from a range of volunteer opportunities: one-day team events; computer lab support; or a weekly commitment as a classroom tutor.

Employers can reimburse employees for their volunteer time, encouraging a culture of philanthropy that helps employees feel good about where they work.

LVGH is happy to visit your corporate offices to present our volunteer opportunities and/or lead a volunteer training.
